Is it a bird? is it a plane? No - it's a giant inflatable Spiderpig.
The cartoon balloon rose above London's iconic Battersea Power Station to mark the release of the Simpsons Movie on DVD.
The stunt was a cheeky recreation of Pink Floyd's Animals album cover shoot in 1977 - when their pig broke loose, shot up into Heathrow's flight path and startled pilots at 40,000 feet.
This time, to make sure history did not repeat itself, an SAS trained marksman was on standby to take Spiderpig down if he looked like flying off.
