I got it. This is how we shared files before the internet, back in the BBS days. Check this out. Picture your hard drive on the left and mine on the right. The server and client are both free. Actually I think Windows includes a FTP client, if so you will be able to do everything in Windows Explorer but using the client you download here will have more features I am betting, like resume and batch downloading.
