Interview: Pink Floyd legend Roger Waters

Pink Floyd famously put their differences aside to perform a show-stopping set at London’s Live8 concert in 2005 – the first time all four had played together onstage for 24 years. Since then, despite multimillion-pound offers, there have been no more reunions.

Bassist and former chief songwriter Roger Waters’ current tour is rumoured to be the last time the Floyd’s classic album Dark Side Of The Moon will be heard live.

“Never say never. Who knows what will happen?” says Waters, 64. “The piece is very close to many people’s hearts, not least mine. When people listen to it I think they realise it’s true – it’s not just a pop group posturing.
